The Lo Manthang Tiji Festival Tour is a focused journey centred on the walled city itself — its monasteries, royal palace, narrow lanes and the three festival days in the main square. It suits travelers who want to reach Lo Manthang efficiently and give the festival and its setting their full attention.

For three days, the monks of Choede Monastery perform masked dances in the square of Lo Manthang, watched by Mustang families in their finest dress. The dances tell the story of Dorje Jono overcoming a demon — a ritual of renewal performed in one of the last places where this living Tibetan Buddhist culture endures.

Lo Manthang sits at around 3,840m in Upper Mustang, north-central Nepal, near the Tibetan border. It is reached via Pokhara and Jomsom, then by jeep or trek.

This is a suggested flow — every itinerary is private and tailored to your dates, pace and comfort level.

• Days 1–2 — Kathmandu: Arrival, briefing, permit preparation and a heritage day.
• Day 3 — Pokhara: Flight or drive to lakeside Pokhara.
• Day 4 — Jomsom to Lo Manthang: Mountain flight to Jomsom, then jeep journey up the valley toward Lo Manthang.
• Days 5–8 — Lo Manthang & Tiji: Explore the monasteries and attend the three festival days, with side visits to Tsarang and nearby cave villages.
• Days 9–10 — Return: Travel back to Jomsom and fly to Pokhara, then Kathmandu.
• Day 11 — Departure: Final transfer to the international airport.
