From Tibet’s Heart to Its Sacred Mountain

The journey traces a path from the cultural heart of Tibet to its most sacred mountain, weaving Tibetan Buddhist culture with Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage tradition.

Community Tourism

Travel That Supports Local Communities

We keep groups small and respect local etiquette at every cultural and sacred site.

Season & Weather

Best Season and Weather

May to September is the operating window. The Kailash section is most reliable in June–August; Lhasa is fine across the whole window.

The kora exceeds 5,600 m. Lhasa acclimatisation helps, but careful pacing and travel insurance with high-altitude evacuation cover are essential.

A few simple choices keep your visit respectful and low-impact in sacred landscapes.

  • Respect local customs, dress modestly and follow your guide at temples, monasteries and sacred sites.
  • Ask before photographing people, rituals and the inside of monasteries.
  • Walk clockwise around stupas, mani walls and sacred sites where this is the custom.
  • Carry a refillable water bottle and avoid single-use plastic in remote regions.
  • Support local guides, drivers, lodges, restaurants and community businesses.
  • Follow permit, border and conservation rules at all times.
