Eco Holiday Asia

Nepal packs more into a small country than almost anywhere on earth. In two weeks, you can explore medieval temple cities in the Kathmandu Valley, watch rhinos from a canoe in Chitwan’s subtropical jungle, sail on Pokhara’s lakeside with the Annapurna massif reflected in the water, and stand at 5,364 metres looking up at the world’s highest peak. Our tour packages are built to help you see more of Nepal without rushing — because the magic is in the moments between the landmarks.

Our Nepal Tour Packages

Multi-Destination Tours

Kathmandu, Pokhara & Chitwan Tour

Our most requested package. The Kathmandu, Pokhara & Chitwan Tour covers Nepal’s golden triangle — the cultural capital, the lakeside adventure hub, and the wildlife heartland. You’ll explore UNESCO World Heritage temples in Kathmandu, take a sunrise boat ride on Phewa Lake in Pokhara, and go on a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park where one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, and over 500 bird species roam freely.

  • Duration: 7–10 days
  • Highlights: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Phewa Lake, Chitwan jeep safari, Tharu cultural program
  • Best for: First-time visitors, families, couples, anyone short on time who wants to see Nepal’s diversity

Mount Kailash Yatra

The Mount Kailash Yatra is a pilgrimage tour to the sacred peak in Tibet, departing overland from Kathmandu. This is a spiritual journey around one of Asia’s holiest mountains, revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bönpo alike. The kora (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash takes 3 days at over 4,500m elevation and requires reasonable fitness.

  • Duration: 14–16 days
  • Highlights: Overland drive through the Tibetan Plateau, Lake Mansarovar, Kailash kora, Kathmandu Valley sightseeing
  • Best for: Pilgrims, spiritual travellers, photographers

Day Tours from Kathmandu

Kathmandu Heritage Day Tour

The Kathmandu Heritage Day Tour is a single-day deep dive into the valley’s living heritage. Led by a Kathmandu-born guide, you’ll visit the major UNESCO sites — Durbar Square, Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa — but also the hidden courtyards, backstreet workshops, and neighbourhood temples that most tourists walk right past.

  • Duration: Full day (8–10 hours)
  • Best for: Travellers with limited time, layover visitors, anyone arriving early for a trek

Nagarkot Hill Station & Bhaktapur Day Tour

The Nagarkot and Bhaktapur Day Tour pairs sunrise over the Himalayas with the best-preserved medieval city in Nepal. You drive to Nagarkot before dawn for panoramic views from Dhaulagiri to Everest, then descend to Bhaktapur — a Newari city where pottery is still made by hand in public squares and the 500-year-old Nyatapola Temple towers over red-brick lanes.

  • Duration: Full day (starts pre-dawn)
  • Best for: Photography, culture lovers, anyone wanting a Himalayan sunrise without trekking

Festival & Special-Interest Tours

Mustang Tiji Festival Tour

The Mustang Tiji Festival Tour takes you to the forbidden kingdom of Upper Mustang for one of Nepal’s most dramatic annual festivals. Tiji is a three-day Buddhist ceremony featuring masked dances, chanting monks, and ancient rituals performed against the backdrop of Lo Manthang’s medieval walled city. We also offer a Jeep Tour version for those who prefer driving over trekking the Kali Gandaki valley.

  • Duration: 10–14 days
  • Best for: Festival lovers, cultural photographers, adventure travellers

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a visa to visit Nepal?

Most nationalities can get a Nepal visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Bring a passport-sized photo and USD 30 (15 days), USD 50 (30 days), or USD 125 (90 days) in cash. Indian nationals don’t need a visa. Check the Nepal Department of Immigration website for the latest requirements.

Is Nepal safe for tourists?

Nepal is one of the safest destinations in Asia. Violent crime against tourists is extremely rare. The main risks are altitude sickness (on treks), traffic in Kathmandu, and occasional natural events. With a reputable tour operator and proper insurance, Nepal is very safe.

What’s the best time to visit Nepal?

October–November (clear skies, comfortable temperatures, festival season including Dashain and Tihar) and March–May (warmer, rhododendron blooms, pre-monsoon clarity). December–February is cold but clear. June–August is monsoon season — still good for rain-shadow regions like Mustang and Dolpo.

How much should I budget for a Nepal trip?

A mid-range guided tour typically costs USD 100–200 per person per day, all-inclusive. Budget travellers can explore independently for USD 30–50 per day. Our tour packages provide excellent value because we’re a local operator — no middleman markups.

Can you arrange domestic flights?

Yes. Internal flights (Kathmandu–Lukla, Kathmandu–Pokhara, Kathmandu–Nepalgunj for western Nepal treks) are included in relevant packages or can be added to any custom itinerary. We book with reliable carriers and monitor weather-related delays on your behalf.
