The Nepal Family Holiday is a 10-day family-paced tour designed around children's interests and parents' comfort. Heritage in Kathmandu becomes hands-on craft and food workshops. Pokhara becomes boat rides, sunrise drives and easy hill walks. Chitwan becomes jeep safari, elephant breeding centre, and Tharu cultural games.
We use family-friendly accommodation throughout — hotels with pools, lawns, child-safe rooms and breakfast that suits young palates. Activities are short enough to keep children engaged but rich enough to be meaningful. Pace is comfortable with rest mornings built in.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
TIA pickup, hotel check-in, welcome dinner. Children-friendly orientation.
Day 2: Kathmandu Heritage Day
Morning Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple — children love the monkeys). Afternoon Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 3: Bhaktapur Pottery Day
Day trip to Bhaktapur — pottery hands-on workshop, juju dhau yogurt, walking the old town.
Day 4: Fly to Pokhara
Morning flight to Pokhara, lakeside walk, afternoon free for swimming or playground time.
Day 5: Phewa Lake & Peace Pagoda
Boat ride across Phewa Lake to World Peace Pagoda. Easy walk up. Afternoon free.
Day 6: Easy Hill Walk
Drive into the hills for a short Gurung village walk. Lunch with a local family. Children play with village children.
Day 7: Fly to Chitwan
Morning flight Pokhara to Bharatpur, transfer to jungle lodge, afternoon orientation walk.
Day 8: Chitwan Safari Day
Morning jeep safari (children love rhinos!). Afternoon Tharu village games and elephant breeding centre.
Day 9: Canoe & Cultural Show
Dawn dugout canoe — crocodiles and birds. Lunch back at lodge. Evening Tharu cultural performance.
Day 10: Return to Kathmandu & Departure
Flight back to Kathmandu, lunch, transfer to TIA for departure.
